Present situation of agricultural information needs and accessibility of women farmers in Imbulpe DS division in Sri Lanka

Agricultural information and accessibility of women farmers are more crucial for enhancing food production. Thus, the main objectives this research were to study present situation agricultural needs in Imbulpe Divisional Secretariate (DS) Division country. Out area, 238 selected from simple random sampling method as sample study. A pre-tested, interviewer-administered questionnaire survey was used primary data collection March July 2019. Descriptive statistics chi-square analysis analyzing methods. Based on findings, showed that, they need regarding improved crop varieties, application agrochemicals, new cropping systems irrigation systems.
